Q: Does the OtterBox for iPod shuffle case fit both the 512MB and 1GB iPod shuffles?
A: Yes, the Otterbox for iPod shuffle case fits both models of the iPod shuffles.
Q: Why is the headphone jack on the outside of the Otterbox for iPod cases so tight?
A: When designing the Otterbox for iPod cases we decided to use a jack that would not allow for your headphones to pull out accidentally during use. If the headphone jack on your case is really tight, trying inserting and removing the headphone plug 5-10 times. This should loosen up the jack to where it is still secure, but not too tight.
Q: Why is the membrane on my Otterbox for iPod case not flush against the wheel of the iPod?
A: Because the case is fully waterproof air can be trapped. This trapped air is what causes the membrane over the click wheel to "bubble" or bow away from the iPod mini making it more difficult to use. To fix this, lightly press down on the center of the membrane when closing and latching the case. This should push enough air out of the case that the membrane lays flat against the iPod click wheel.
Q: Can I use my OtterBox for iPod when I scuba dive?
A: Absolutely NOT! These cases are NOT adapted to withstand the pressures experienced by scuba diving.
